On the Zeeszooare....

If i shall leave when the ceremonies are over,
these beaches will know much of me,
I shall come back, as the relentless and as unwavering
as the cadence of the waves.
If college-life is limited, if it has made me disdainful,
i shall look back and reminisce...
In the great tranquility of solitude,
and if any of you need me
stand on the shingly seashore and call my name.

a new chapter of my life...
job hunting...i could not be ready (or so i think)..
i can't believe that this is really happening...
the reality of it all feels so surreal...
hope the world of unemployment won't welcome me with open arms...

reVIEWS Galore!!!!!

here are just some of the novel's reviews....have a copy and im sure you'll love it...

WOW...
Blockbuster perfection. An exhilaratingly brainy thriller.
Not since the advent of Harry Potter has an author so flagrantly delighted in leading readers on a breathless chase and coaxing them through hoops.
--Janet Maslin
THE NEW YORK TIMES
A new master of smart thrills.
A pulse-quickening, brain-teasing adventure.
--PEOPLE MAGAZINE
This is pure genius.
Dan Brown has to be one of the best, smartest,
and most accomplished writers in the country.
--NELSON DEMILLE
Thriller writing doesn't get any better than this.
--DENVER POST
This masterpiece should be mandatory reading.
Brown solidifies his reputation as one of the most skilled thriller writers on the planet with his best book yet, a compelling blend of history and page-turning suspense. Highly recommended.
--LIBRARY JOURNAL
Exceedingly clever.
Both fascinating and fun...a considerable achievement.
--WASHINGTON POST
A heart-racing thriller.
This story has so many twists -- all satisfying, most unexpected -- that it would be a sin to reveal too much of the plot in advance. Let's just say that if this novel doesn't get your pulse racing, you need to check your meds.
--SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE
A thundering, tantalizing, extremely smart fun ride.
Brown doesn't slow down his tremendously powerful narrative engine despite transmitting several doctorates' worth of fascinating history and learned speculation, "The Da Vinci Code" is brain candy of the highest quality -- which is a reviewer's code meaning, ''Put this on top of your pile.''
-- CHICAGO TRIBUNE
One hell of a read.
A gripping mix of murder and myth.
--NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
An international chase...a quest...codes within codes. Brown's novel is a pager-turner... and you'll never view "The Last Supper" the same way again. Favorable review.
--THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE MONITOR
Dan Brown's conspiracy-theory thriller is the pulp must-read of the season...an ingenious mixture of paranoid thriller, art history lesson, chase story, religious symbology lecture and anti-clerical screed, and it's the most fun you can have between the sort of covers that aren't 300-count Egyptian cotton.
--SALON.COM
One of the finest mysteries I've ever read.
An amazing tale with enigma piled on secrets stacked on riddles.
--New York Times bestselling author, CLIVE CUSSLER
Far more than the average thriller.
Intellectually satisfying...page-turning suspense.
--HOUSTON CHRONICLE
I would never have believed that this is my kind of thriller, but I'm going to tell you something--the more I read, the more I had to read. In The Da Vinci Code, Dan Brown has built a world that is rich in fascinating detail, and I could not get enough of it.
Mr. Brown, I am your fan.
--New York Times bestselling author, ROBERT CRAIS

my new found love.... DAN BROWN of "THE DA VINCI CODE"

BIZZARE FACTS FROM THE DA VINCI CODE

EI you guys..i know that some of you are not that familiar with the novel...THE DA VINCI CODE, which i am fond of right now...it's a cool novel and people have been raving about it for quite some time now..so i am imparting some of the secrets of this novel...it is very mysterious....just read and have a feel of what the novel is all about....

The Secret Life of Leonardo da Vinci
A prankster and genius, Leonardo da Vinci is widely believed to have hidden secret messages within much of his artwork. Most scholars agree that even Da Vinci's most famous pieces—works like The Mona Lisa, The Last Supper, and Madonna of the Rocks—contain startling anomalies that all seem to be whispering the same cryptic message…a message that hints at a shocking historical secret which allegedly has been guarded since 1099 by a European secret society known as the Priory of Sion. In 1975, Paris's Bibliothèque Nationale discovered parchments known as Les Dossiers Secrets, identifying numerous members of the Priory of Sion, including Sir Isaac Newton, Victor Hugo, Botticelli, and Leonardo da Vinci. French President, Francois Mitterrand, is rumored to have been a member, although there exists no proof of this.

An Unbroken Code
There exists a chapel in Great Britain that contains a ceiling from which hundreds of stone blocks protrude, jutting down to form a bizarre multi-faceted surface. Each block is carved with a symbol, seemingly at random, creating a cipher of unfathomable proportion. Modern cryptographers have never been able to break this code, and a generous reward is offered to anyone who can decipher the baffling message. In recent years, geological ultrasounds have revealed the startling presence of an enormous subterranean vault hidden beneath the chapel. This vault appears to have no entrance and no exit. To this day, the curators of the chapel have permitted no excavation.

243 Lexington Avenue, New York
The Vatican prelature known as Opus Dei is a deeply devout Catholic sect that has become controversial recently due to allegations of brainwashing, coercion, and a dangerous practice known as "corporal mortification." Opus Dei has recently completed construction of a $47 million, 133,000-square-foot American Headquarters at 243 Lexington Avenue in New York City.

Someone is watching you...or are they?
The Louvre Museum in Paris is one of the longest buildings on earth. Walking around the entire perimeter of this horseshoe-shaped edifice is a three-mile journey. Even so, the Louvre's collection of art is so vast that only a fraction of its works can be displayed on the walls. Inside the galleries, a multitude of security cameras watch over visitors. The number of cameras is so great that a staff of several hundred wardens would be required to monitor all of them. In fact, most of the cameras are fake.

Da Vinci's slap on the wrist.
Da Vinci's original commission for his famous Madonna of the Rocks came from an organization known as the Confraternity of the Immaculate Conception, which needed a painting for the centerpiece of an altar triptych in their church of San Francesco Grand in Milan. The nuns gave Leonardo specific dimensions and a desired theme—the Virgin Mary, baby John The Baptist, Uriel, and Baby Jesus sheltering in a cave. Although Da Vinci did as they requested, when he delivered the work, the group reacted with horror. The painting contained several disturbing "un-Christian" anomalies, which seemed to convey a hidden message and alternative meaning. Da Vinci eventually mollified the confraternity by painting them a second version of Madonna of the Rocks, which now hangs in London's National Gallery under the name Virgin of the Rocks. Da Vinci's original hangs at the Louvre in Paris.

MOMENTS.....

moments...
are made up of sunshine and lovebirds
of walks along the shore as the sun sets
and the cool winds kissing your face;

picnics and parties;
singing in the rain;
of laughter and tears
and laughter once more;
of chocolate and ice cream,
showers and backrubs;
of winning the day,
or that special phonecall;
of the warmest smiles and tender hugs;
of family togetherness,
of friends and more friends;
a newborn's touch;
the sweetes kiss.
Moments are made up of these...
these and so much more...

December 1, 2003

monday,START of the week...
first day of december so to speak..
first class,received beatings that make me weak.

felt like didn't do anything better,
in making things perfect despite the weather.

it was a bad day,
wish i was not there to stay.
but that's life anyway....

presentation jitters...

this was my first blog...published last October 17, 2004

my first bLoG!!! got me really excited coz i felt like i've accomplished at least one task today. i really hope that this goes on forever....i do make a schedule of my activities for the day but since my "hell week" started it stopped well not just a week because this sem has been "hell" for me frankly speaking. i get so tired to the point that i don't know if i'm doing something or not. it's like i have temporary amnesia....

the fact that i am graduating this school year keeps me going but then the pessimistic and the negative side of me takes over...this is due to the countless requirements asked by my favorite professors in my majors...it's like they are raising to see if who gives up first. they find happinness in other people's difficulties...i just wish that this will be over soon...

i do have a lot of things to do...a presentation to be exact and its gonna be a few hours from now...arghhh! it scares me a lot! wishing you people...who have the time to read my blog a very fruitful day!!!! God Bless!!!!

48 years later...

wow! it's been sooo long since i last posted in my blog...i haven't remebered the "how" in posting a blog. just to get things straight...i never had time to post one since last year..and even if i have time to surf the net,i do not have extra time..

neway,my life is still the same...same old things happen. well,as for some of the things. i am doing my thesis nowadays and activities are getiing bleek..i mean nothing is rily going on..pretty much boring. adding to this is my poor lovelife..i have no boyfriend now but i guess i am sort of lucky because i have tons of friends who care and love me...that's all for now coz my eyes are tired...bye...for now...have a great day ahead!!!!!!
